Terms of Use

Version 2026-05-27

By creating an account or using Summit6, you agree to these Terms of Use, our Privacy Policy, and any firm-specific policies that apply to your deployment. Access is invite-only; your firm administrator controls who may register.

You may use Summit6 only for lawful purposes in connection with legitimate legal work, and only with materials you are authorized to process. You may not:

  • Upload or process materials you lack rights or permission to use
  • Use the service in violation of protective orders, confidentiality agreements, or client instructions
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the service
  • Share account credentials or allow unauthorized persons to use your account
  • Rely on AI-generated output without appropriate professional review and verification

You represent and warrant that you will only upload materials you are authorized to process, that uploads comply with applicable ethical rules and court orders, and that you have authority to send those materials to the third-party AI and infrastructure providers described in the Privacy Policy.

Summaries are produced by large language models with automated citation and audit checks. Output may be incomplete or incorrect. Automated audits reduce but do not eliminate error. You are solely responsible for reviewing citations, the audit appendix, and all substantive content before using any summary in pleadings, discovery, client advice, or other legal work.

Uploaded transcripts are processed to run the Summit6 pipeline. In-flight processing uses short-lived scratch storage (typically up to two hours). Completed summaries and audit artifacts are retained per your subscription plan. See the Privacy Policy for details on collection, retention, and third-party processors.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the service operator, its affiliates, and their personnel from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your unauthorized uploads, breach of these terms, violation of law or court order, or misuse of AI-generated summaries.

Summit6 is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. The service does not provide legal advice. To the extent permitted by law, the operator disclaims liability for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service.

We may update these terms. Material changes require renewed acceptance at sign-in. The version identifier above indicates the current terms version stored with your account.

Questions about these terms for summit6.law deployments should be directed to your firm administrator.
